Stunning Hollywood movies and pervasive media have long provoked the hatred and contempt or even worse, vengeance toward what the world is fighting now, Terrorism. The notion of executing these gruesome quacks and cold-hearted murderers arouses audience curiosity and desire to discover what is the story behind this? Is terrorism definitely what the rest of the world thought the most terrifying, appalling tragedies and great loss to humanity? Or is it just a globally political propaganda designed to cover the disturbing truth? That is probably the enigma of political paradox we are all arguing about.
Apparently, most power-thriven countries in the world have been deliberately working so hard to empower their strength so as to conquer what to them is necessary. They influenced, inspired or probably in the worst scenario, legally exploited the natural resources around the globe. So what are the remains? A number of casualties left behind the brutal invasion in the name of democracy. What is worthy about this sense of liberty while your life is in high stage of being taken away, the whole infrastructure is disturbingly demolished. To the better or worse, everyone craves for a brighter future, authentic freedom and the pursuit of happiness. Imagined someone suddenly step foot in your house demanding all these cheerful dreams in exchange of unreliable or more like delusional promises for the sake of development with better freedom, will you accept it? From the point of economist view, probably not. However, you seem have no choice to decide on your fate and the destiny of your beloved ones. Then the feud and bloodshed cannot be avoided due to interest conflicts. There is a saying “the winner is always the king whereas the loser is the thief”.
Let’s be cheeky and twisted here. I detest dictatorship and absolute monarchy due to the fact that they are secretive and extremely authoritarian. The way they treat their people is like worms and bugs which eat up the wealth of the nation. Statistics shows that many of communist leaders are the most corrupted gangs alive. My country is one great example. Those tycoons simply deplete the country natural resource and suck the blood of innocents through the tax system and countless contempt acts of corruption. This results in numerous catastrophes like injustice in the society, unsustainable development throughout the country, underachieved goals from health to educational sectors. Trust me, everything sucks from public administration to drainage system. Worst of all, it is not unusual that the doctor reject his patients and left him dead due to payment shortage while the government do nothing besides begging for aids or grants. I mean why the government is too cheap to beg for money when the reliable revenue is high enough to support the entire system. What a shame!
So to speak, I’m nowhere near the extremist, the communist or liberalist though their ideologies seem abundant and logical to me. I prefer to stay neutral and stand on what best fits my critical judgment which based on the facts. I’ve read a lot of news and study the history of those countries since colonialism. It seems to me that old-fashioned trend hasn’t changed much until now. The rich still exploits the poor and brainwash them to be obedient and submissive through trade and globalization, of course. It is so unfair to us that the one who decides doesn’t take the consequence but the innocent patriots who love their country and devote to protect it all the best of our ability.
